Camp Director

John Arndt is the Summer Camp Director, at Camp St. Bernard.  He has been in charge of Camp St. Bernard since the summer of 2007. He is a graduate of St. Bernard Preparatory School (2002) and Spring Hill College (2006) where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. He is currently employed at Saint Rose Academy in Birmingham where he is the 5th grade homeroom teacher and After School Care Director.  John has extensive experience with summer camps, ranging from his experience of working camps for St. Bernard during high school to his summer experiences as a member of the Boy Scouts of America where he is an Eagle Scout.

The Administrative Staff of Camp St. Bernard includes Miss Katie Hawkins, Miss Katie Chiodo, and Mr. Luke Wasilewski.  Miss Hawkins is the Spanish Teacher and Cheerleading Sponsor among other titles at St. Bernard Prep School.  This is her second year at Camp St. Bernard.  Miss Chiodo is a 2007 graduate of SBP and recent graduate of Samford University with her bachelors in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  This will be her 4th year in administration at Camp.  Luke is a 2008 graduate of SBP and is currently in his senior year at Spring Hill College where he is working on a degree in Finance.  This will be his sixth summer at Camp St. Bernard!
